Kalinchowk Tour: A Perfect Himalayan Escape around Kathmandu. The Kalinchowk Tour is one of the most popular short holiday destinations in Nepal that offers beautiful Himalayan vistas, cultural experiences, and exciting winter adventures. Kalinchowk in Dolakha District, about 150 km east of Kathmandu, is ideal for those who want to make a quick trip to nature and the mountains. The Kalinchowk Tour’s major attraction is the famed Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple, a holy pilgrimage place for Goddess Bhagwati. It is located at an altitude of around 3,842 meters and draws thousands of Hindu worshipers and tourists all year round. Visitors can climb to the temple or take a picturesque ride on the Kalinchowk Cable Car, Nepal’s first hill station cable car, which is spectacularly scenic with views of the Himalayas.
We will depart from Kathmandu at around 6:30 am at the meeting point (will be informed). By 9:30 am, we will stop for lunch. At 10:30 am, we will depart for Charikot and arrive there by 1:30 pm (approximately), Then we will depart for Charikot Dolkha Bhimsen Mandir and finally, we will reach our destination Kuri Village by 6:00 pm. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
Wake up at 4:00 am. After morning activities, move to Kalinchowk temple by 5:00 am. It is nearly about 1.5 hours hike to the temple, and we will be back at the hotel by 8:00 am for breakfast. Finally, at 11:00 pm, we will depart for Kathmandu and have lunch on the way. By 7:00 pm, we will arrive in Kathmandu.
