Kharpunath temple  is located in Humla district. Where Lord Shiva is worshiped with great adoration. Kharpunath is one of the four Naths.

This shrine is called Kharpunath because Shiva carried the dead body of the mountain and passed through this path on the way to Kailasa. The lower part of the armpit, i.e. in the local language, ‘Kharpa’ fell and its shape was similar to that of Kharpa.

It is said that Humla came from the same Kotihom as five Pandavas came to the place where the part of Kharpa was located.

At present, Nabigari temple has been constructed on the site of Koti Home. When you enter the temple, you can see various signs and impressions.

There is a cave inside the main gate where the priest lives. Inside the cave, there is a statue of Ganesha made on a stone, in which the sudo of an elephant can be clearly seen. On the other side, you can see a cow’s udder with the shape of a shivaji.

At the mouth of the temple is the river Tirveni Karnali. On the three sides of the holiday, you can see Dharmaraj’s Gath, Kamadhenu cow’s imprint as well as elephant’s trunk, gaurishanka, tortoise, Burma kapali, sovan meaning gold line, conch toda i.e. nisani. After reaching a little distance, there are the steps of a calf and the steps of a cow.

The place where the temple is located is in a mood like a big shivling. Behind which, the coat has been saluted. There is a snake imprint along with Shiva’s gath. A little below is the imprint of Hodekholi Lama’s Gath.

At the place where the river Karnali flows in the belly of the temple, the hot pool is purified by drinking the water of Bubblekedar. Gaujo cutting is with the salvation zone.

The incense burning inside the temple comes straight from the top of the mood. The fair is held here especially on the day of Sakranti and Shiva Ratri. One day on Monday, there is a crowd of worshipers and cowherds.

Apart from its religious value, this place is also famous for its natural beauty.

This is a great place for searchers.

It can be reached on foot and by vehicle.
