Humla is one of the most remote districts in western Nepal. The Upper Humla Circuit Trek is nestled between the Himalayan ranges, the high valley and the hidden valleys of the upper Hamla, the mysterious Limi Valley, the high meadows and snow-capped mountains.
The Upper Hamla Circuit Trek is an ideal choice for trekkers who want to explore and love the undiscovered destination and jungle landscape of western Nepal. The Limi Valley and Upper Hamla Circuit Trek is a riv-like track where you can take great adventure trips with rare diverse scenery, very interesting people, culturally rich villages and gompa. Exploring and exploring this virgin forest is a rare opportunity in western Nepal.
The upper Hamla circuit trek starts and ends at Simikot.Finally, the Nile Pass 5001 m. You will travel from Kathmandu near the Indian border to Nepalganj and the next day to Simikot. From that time on, the trek begins to cross several passes and reach Limi Valley.
After visiting the most interesting villages, your route continues north, towards Lapache Pass. You go east through a wide valley and travel 5475 meters to reach the bottom of the mountain. The landscape is like a desert with the weather at the end of the world. It is a bit of a dip in the lush meadows and the religious life of its vast Tibetan plateau.
Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport you will be met by kharpunath travels and tour staff and transported to your hotel, followed by a short briefing concerning your trek. In the evening we will provide a welcome dinner.
Our first day of this journey begins with a 50-minute flight to Nepalgunj. Nepalgunj is situated in the border region of India in the west of Nepal. Tonight we will stay at a hotel.
Today we have a 30 minute scenic flight to Simikot (2950m) - the administrative centre of Humla. The flight offers amazing views of Mountains Mt.Api (7132m) and Mt.Saipahl (7031m). Simikot sits on a ridge above the Humla Karnali River with awesome views down into the valley. We then have to trek for around three hours until we reach hepkakhola where we stay the night.
